News of relief from the corona virus has surfaced. Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan has claimed that the corona virus will be brought under control by Diwali this year. Dr. Harshvardhan said this at the inaugural function of a webinar series. He says the country is far ahead in fighting the epidemic.

Corona virus will be under control by Diwali this year, he said. Leaders and the general public have worked together to fight this epidemic. He said health officials had met long before the corona cases came to India.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also formed a committee headed by him and we have met 22 times so far," Harshvardhan said. As of February there was only one lab in the country which has now been increased to 1583. More than 1 thousand of them are government labs. About one million tests are being done every day in the country, which is more than our target.

Regarding medical equipment, he said that there is no shortage of PPE kits, ventilators and N95 masks as before. Five lakh PPE kits are being made every day in the country while 10 manufacturers are working on making N95 masks. 25 companies are working to make ventilators.

Regarding the vaccine, he said that the trial of the vaccine is going on on a war footing. Three vaccines are in their clinical trials while four vaccines are in pre-clinical trials. We hope the vaccine will be ready by the end of this year. It is because of the foresight of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that we have been able to reach here.
