The draft of this letter was also sent to Shashi Tharoor.

On Monday evening, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad was informed that a meeting of leaders like Shashi Tharoor, Kapil Sibal and others had been held there. Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Karti Chidambaram, Mani Shankar Iyer, Sachin Pilot, Manu Abhishek Sanghvi, etc. were present at the dinner held there for Shashi Tharoor five months ago. However, some of them did not sign the letter sent to Sonia Gandhi.

Confirming the news that Tharoor was present at the dinner held there, Manu Abhishek Sanghvi said it was an informal meeting to discuss some reforms that could be done in the party.
