A bus traveling from the capital New Delhi to Madhubani area of Bihar met with an accident on the Agra-Lucknow Express Highway on Wednesday night. According to a report, the bus overturned and overturned. The bus overturned on the highway after passing the Etawah district.
The bus had 45 passengers. Of these, 16 were seriously injured. All the injured passengers were admitted to PGI Saifai Hospital for treatment. There were mostly workers in the bus. The accident happened around half past twelve at night. Upon receiving the news, Usrahar police station officials rushed to the spot with a few passengers and smashed the window glass of the bus and evacuated the laborers. All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
A hospital spokesman said most of the injured were safe. Meanwhile, police were investigating how the accident happened. Police are investigating whether the driver was drunk or fell asleep later. More details awaited.
