ZyCoV-D, the country's second indigenous corona vaccine, begins testing on humans

After India's first corona vaccine, covaxin, human testing of the country's second corona vaccine has now begun.

Indian pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadilla announced on Wednesday that it has begun human testing for a possible corona vaccine. In the midst of all this the transmission of the corona virus is growing very fast in the third most affected country. The ZYCoV-D, plasma DNA vaccine is considered safe, according to Zydus Cadillac. Previous clinical trials of the corona vaccine have yielded good results in immunity and immunity tests.

Zydus Cadila will involve more than 1,000 people in human testing of its corona vaccine. For this, many clinical research centers have also been set up in India. Earlier on July 2, after India Biotech's 'COVAXIN', Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. But Kovid-19 is talking about making a vaccine. The Drug Controller General of India has since approved Zydus Cadila for human testing of the vaccine. At the same time, Zydus Cadila has become the second company in the country to get approval for human testing. More recently, a similar trial was approved by Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad.

The country's first corona vaccine will be launched on the 15th

If all goes well, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may launch an indigenous corona vaccine from the Red Fort on August 15. The vaccine, which is being developed in partnership with ICMR and Bharat Biotech, has been successfully tested on animals and its human trial is ongoing. In order for the vaccine to be launched as soon as possible, the ICMR has strongly instructed all the organizations selected for the trial to adhere to it within certain limits. If the vaccine is launched on August 15, it will be the world's first corona vaccine.
