Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made the big announcement on Thursday. The Kejriwal government has decided to reduce diesel prices amid the Korona virus crisis in the capital. Diesel price in Delhi is going to be 16% VAT. With the Kejriwal government's relief, diesel prices in Delhi will come down to Rs 8.36.
The CMA of Delhi said that diesel is now being distributed in Delhi at a price of up to Rs 82 per liter, which has now been reduced from 30% to 16% VAT. So now the price of diesel will be reduced to Rs 8, diesel will now be Rs 73.64.
The cabinet has decided to boost the economy in the state. In Delhi, people are now going to work, the atmosphere is improving, and corona cases are declining.
The executives and factory owners have appealed to him that the government has given him relief. However, operations will start soon in Delhi.
Amid the Corona virus crisis and lockdown, petrol and diesel prices have been rising steadily for several days in the country.
In the meantime, the price of diesel has gone up to Rs 80, though there was controversy over it. "VAT has gone up further in Delhi," the Center said. Prices are going up for it. Meanwhile, the decision has now been taken by the state government, which is providing relief to the people of Delhi.
