New delhi date. 15 July 2020, Wednesday

The military story between India and China lasted for 14 hours yesterday. The military story between the two countries began at 11 a.m. on July 14 and lasted until 2 p.m. It also discussed the retreat of Chinese troops in tense areas. The Chinese army is currently deployed on Finger-5 in the Pangong area and the Indian army is seeking to restore the status quo as it was before April.

This is the fourth meeting of the corps commanders of India and China in which it has been decided that both the armies will return to their old positions. Apart from that, both armies are set to return to where they were in April and withdraw their large weapons. Even before the corps commander's meeting, the Chinese army has been moving from PLA Finger-4 to Finger-5.

The Chinese army is currently deployed on Finger-5 and India has asked it to return to Finger-8. In fact, the Indian Army has also been patrolling till Finger-8, but after April, the Chinese Army increased its deployment from Finger-4 to Finger-8 and stopped the Indian Army from patrolling.

The Indian Army has sent a clear message to China's PLA to withdraw from Finger-8 and restore pre-April status. Currently, the Chinese army has moved from Finger-4 to Finger-5. It is learned that Finger-4 has been declared a no-patrolling zone. This means that the armies of both the countries will not be patrolling in Finger-4.

Notably, China had started packing its beds from the Galvan River Valley and the sensitive Pangong Tso area of Ladakh. Pangong is the area of the lake where the Chinese troops arrived on May 5 and clashed. The shores of the lake have been in a state of tension for about two months and China has made its new positions there.
