Sushant Singh Rajput's case handed over to CBI, Mayawati blames Congress

Lucknow Ta. Thursday 30 July 2020

The suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput should be handed over to the CBI as BSP president Mayawati alleged on Twitter that Congress leaders were interfering in the functioning of the police. Mayawati wrote on Twitter that the suicide case of this talented young man from Bihar is getting deeper day by day. The police complaint lodged by her father and family members in Patna is not taken into account. Even in Mumbai, there were rumors that the police were covering their heads. In view of this, the investigation of this case should be handed over to the CBI. It is said that the CBI can handle the case better than the Mumbai-Maharashtra or Bihar police.

At the same time, Mayawati alleged that the attitude of Congress leaders in Maharashtra and Bihar made them more interested in roasting their own political bread than revealing the truth behind Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. Even the Maharashtra state government is not taking the case seriously enough. In these circumstances, it is better that the case be handed over to the CBI.

Meanwhile, Vikas Singh, a lawyer for Sushant's family, also alleged that the petition filed by actress Riya Chakraborty, who is considered Sushant's girlfriend, to shift the case from Patna to Mumbai, indicated that someone in the Mumbai police was helping her.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had also made a public allegation that the Mumbai police were shielding the big heads of Bollywood. Kangana had named Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in connection with Sushant's suicide case.
