After the Chinese incursion on the Ladakh front and the ensuing bloody conflict between the Chinese and Indian armies, India has turned left against China.

India now seems to be in the mood to open up to China on the international front as well, as there are indications that India wants to play a more active role in the axis of India, the US, Australia and Japan set up to counter China.

India is planning to involve the US, Japan and Australia's navy in the Malabar war games for the first time to send a message to China after China's betrayal on the Ladakh border. According to a media report, India may send official controls to Australia by next week.

Earlier in 2017, Australia wanted to join the war games but BK India stopped Australia saying that China would be offended. However, now India has decided to send a strong message to China.

According to a Washington-based think tank, conducting joint naval exercises between the four countries would send a very clear message to China that the four countries are also increasing military cooperation.

Foreign policy experts believe that the four-nation alliance needs to be strengthened, otherwise China will benefit. If India is to face China at the international level, it is necessary to strengthen the four-nation alliance.
