New delhi date. Monday 27 July 2020

The world's most powerful fighter aircraft Raphael is coming to India. According to sources, Rafale will fly to India from a French airbase today. After completing the 7364 km flight, the 5 Rafale aircraft will reach Ambala Airbase on Wednesday and the special thing is that the fighter pilots of the Indian Air Force are bringing the Rafale to India by themselves.

India had struck a deal with France in September 2016 for 36 Rafale fighter jets. The deal is worth about Rs 59,000 crore. According to reports, Raphael will land at Al Dafra airbase in the UAE after taking off from France. After all the remaining technical checkups from fuel here, Raphael will fly directly to India and reach Ambala Airbase.

A total of 36 more pilots will be trained to fly the Raphael as per the company’s agreement. The aircraft will be flown by an Indian pilot. According to information, all the 10 fighter jets were to be delivered in the first consignment, but due to unpreparedness, only five planes are currently arriving in India.

In this regard, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to French Defense Minister Florence Parle on June 2. France, meanwhile, was confident that the delivery of the Raphael fighter jet to India would be timely, without the Corona crisis.

Amid the ongoing border dispute with China, it is very important for Raphael to reach India. It is also expected to boost deliveries of Raphael aircraft in the future.
