China has reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in Leh. "It is baseless to call us regionalists," said the Chinese embassy in New Delhi. We have resolved border disputes with 12 of the 14 neighboring countries.
Addressing the Indian Army personnel, Prime Minister Modi said that the era of regionalism is over. Now is the time for evolution. Evolution is only relevant in times of rapid change. There are opportunities for evolution and evolution is the basis of the future. The Prime Minister's statement has chilled the dragon.
The Chinese embassy said China has resolved border disputes with 12 of its 14 neighbors through dialogue. Seeing China as a regionalist is baseless. Notably, Prime Minister Modi suddenly reached Leh on Friday where he addressed the jawans. The prime minister targeted China without naming names.
