PM Modi will address the India Idea Summit today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address an international forum today. PM Modi will address the India Ideas Summit tonight at 8:30 pm Indian time and the eyes of people from all over the world will be on the summit. The conference is being organized by the US-India Business Council (USIBC) and its theme is building a better future. The summit will discuss trade and cooperation between the two countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address delegates from around the world, including the United States and India, as key partners and leaders in the post-Covid-19 world. This is a two-day summit with a major partnership between the United States and India, which is being organized digitally.

According to a USIBC report, the summit will bring together top Indian and US government officials working on a blueprint for resurgence after the epidemic.

The summit will also be attended by senior executives from top US and Indian companies. The officials include Jim Tasslett, chief executive officer (CEO) of Lockheed Martin Corporation, winner of the USIBC's 2020 Global Leadership Award, and Ann Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Sons.

Among those who addressed this year's summit were US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, US Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services Eric Hagen, Virginia Senator Mark Ferran Ambassador Kenneth Juster and many others are involved. According to USIBC, it is celebrating 45 years of work to enhance the US-India partnership.

This year will focus on building a better future. As Prime Minister Modi faces the dual challenge of the Covid-19 health impact and related global economic disruption, he has highlighted the importance of India-US partnership in ushering in an era of economic innovation and inclusive opportunity.

According to USIBC Chairperson Nisha Biswal, Prime Minister Modi has taken US-India relations to new heights through his continued engagement with the US administration.
