No power in the world can snatch an inch of India's land, Rajnath Singh tells China

Leh, dated 17 July 2020, Friday

Arriving in Ladakh to boost the morale of the troops amid tensions with China, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that no army in the world has the strength to snatch even an inch of Indian land. The country is proud of the Indian Army.

Rajnath Singh told the jawans, "I am proud to be among you. The martyrdom of the jawans will not go away. 130 crore countrymen are proud of you."

"Whatever talks have taken place so far, the matter is likely to be resolved. However, I cannot guarantee how long it will be resolved. Yes, I can assure you that any power in the world can occupy an inch of India's land," he said. Not so.

Earlier, Rajnath Singh had visited the areas adjacent to the LAC and had a tea breakfast with the Indian Army's Jambaz Jawano at the Lukung outpost.

"We want peace and this is our character. We have not attacked the self-esteem of any country but if anyone attacks our self-esteem, it will not be tolerated and a stern response will be given," he said.
