In Samastipur, 6 people got stuck on a boat in the morning with electric wires, many people drowned

A huge tragedy has taken place at Namapur in Kalyanpur in Samastipur, Bihar. Eight people were electrocuted in the Bagmati river here. They were on their way to sleep on the dam when they were struck by a power line. Six people have been badly injured in the accident.

Apart from that, news has come out that two people from the village are missing. All the injured have been immediately admitted to Kalyanpur PHC. Doctors have referred the girl to Sadar Hospital in Samastipur as her condition is critical and her condition is said to be critical.

On the other hand, an investigation is underway in the river to find the missing flood victims. According to the details of the incident, the water level in the Bagmati river had risen too high and the flood waters had returned to the houses of the victims.

Due to this, 10 to 11 people were boarding the boat from Namapur village to sleep on the dam. In the darkness of the night, the sailors did not see the 11,000-volt power line, so they jumped into it and all the people in the boat were burnt to death.

Eight of them have been pulled out of the water but two are feared to have drowned in the floodwaters. The medical officer at Kalyanpur informed that 5 people were undergoing treatment at PHC. While a girl has been referred to Sadar Hospital.
