Governments don't work hard, many countries are going in the wrong direction: WHO's concern over Corona

Geneva, Ta. 14 July 2020, Tuesday

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday criticized the governments of various countries for failing to reduce the number of coronavirus cases. "Governments are sending a different message about the corona virus and are losing public trust," said Tedros Adhnom Ghebrieus, president of the World Health Organization. Failure to prevent a large case of corona virus means that we may not be able to return to normal life in the near future.

However, the World Health Organization did not name any particular politician or country during the criticism of the governments. "Many countries are moving in the wrong direction with the corona virus epidemic," Tedros said. Some countries are not taking appropriate steps to prevent the transition. At the same time, however, the organization acknowledged how difficult it is for governments to contain the Corona virus epidemic.

The World Health Organization acknowledges that sanctions have economic, social and cultural consequences. Corona virus has become the No. 1 enemy of the people but the governments and people of many countries do not understand this. Speaking to reporters in Geneva, Tedros said public confidence was the most important thing for action against Corona, but that confidence was waning because of a different message from leaders.

According to the World Health Organization, various governments should give a clear message for the health of the people and persuade the general public to stay at home on social distress, masks and hand washing as well as symptoms. A day before the World Health Organization's statement, there were 2.3 million new cases of corona in the world in a record 24 hours. Eighty percent of those cases were from just 10 countries.

According to the World Health Organization, the government and the general public should make decisions based on local conditions and monitor whether there is a large-scale community transmission.
