New delhi date. Thursday 30 July 2020

Corona reportedly made the pilgrimage difficult for Muslims of all denominations, which is considered the most sacred act and a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage for every Muslim. Every year Shia, Sunni, Ahmadiyya, Baha'i, Deoband etc. Muslims of all sects of Islam perform Hajj. An estimated 2.5 million Muslims perform the Hajj each year. But this year the pilgrimage became difficult due to the Corona virus.

According to the latest information in this regard, Saudi Arabia has imposed a ban on foreign pilgrims. Thus, after staying in quarantine for 14 days, the pilgrims wearing masks in small groups on Wednesday took advantage of the pilgrimage by maintaining social distance. It is a tradition to perform Hajj in the same way that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) passed 1400 years ago. Muslims of all sects live together and worship in Mecca Medina, forgetting their differences.

This time Saudi Arabia imposed strict rules and restrictions on pilgrims. Masks and social distance were formally declared mandatory. The strictest rule this year was that only Muslims between the ages of twenty and fifty would be allowed to perform the Hajj. Even people in this age group must be completely healthy. Only a thousand Muslims living in Saudi Arabia were selected for the Hajj.

The victims, who are currently in Mecca and Medina, were avoiding a meal and eating alone in their hotel rooms, and everyone was instructed not to go for a walk without a reason.

Saudi Arabia has informed almost all the countries of the world about the rules for its Hajj. Saudi Arabia, through its embassies, also told countries around the world that the rules and sanctions would be strictly enforced. Thus, there is no denying the possibility that one lakh people will be able to perform Hajj this year as against the usual pilgrimage of 25 lakh people every year.

It was officially announced that Saudi Arabia was taking all possible measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
