Jaipur, Ta. 11. July. 2020 Saturday

Police in Rajasthan have arrested a BJP leader for allegedly plotting to overthrow the Congress-led Gehlot government in the state, which has heated up the political atmosphere in the state.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has alleged that now everyone should be focused on fighting the Korons. We are doing the same but the BJP is trying to overthrow the government. This was not the case during Vajpayee's time.

Police, meanwhile, said they were keeping a watch on two mobile numbers in connection with the arms smuggling case. The conversations on these numbers revealed that the BJP had hatched a conspiracy to overthrow the Congress government before the Rajya Sabha elections. Information to offer Rs 25 crore has also come to light.

Even before the Rajya Sabha elections, Congress leader Mahesh Joshi had alleged that the BJP had lured two Congress MLAs with large sums of money. The matter then reached the state government.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged by the police in the case. Two BJP leaders, Bharat Malani and Ashok Singh, have been named in the case. Among them, Bharat Malani has been arrested.
