The body of a BJP MLA was found strangled in West Bengal yesterday after the body was found in public yesterday.
The BJP today declared a 12-hour shutdown in West Bengal over allegations that the MLA was killed. As a result, there have been incidents of BJP workers clashing with police and stoning of buses.
A mixed effect of closure has been observed. Shops were closed in some places and our rush was also on the rise. The body of MLA Devendranath Reno was found hanging outside his house yesterday.
Police say they have received a letter from Rena Gajwa. In which he blames two people for his suicide. However, Rena's family and the BJP have claimed that she was killed and demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
