Arrested in Kanpur case, arrested after collision Vikas Dubey gang's Dayashankar

Kanpur police have arrested Dayashankar Agnihotri, an accomplice of gangster Vikas Dubey, who attacked a police team in Bikru village. A clash took place between Kanpur police and Dayashankar at 4:40 am today in Kalyanpur police station area in which Dayashankar was shot in the leg. Uttar Pradesh police had announced a bounty of Rs 25,000 on Dayashankar Agnihotri.

According to police, the clash took place in Jawahar Puram area and Uttar Pradesh police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for the man. Police have given first aid to Dayashankar after the collision and efforts are on to interrogate him. Police are likely to get some important information from Dayashankar about the time his team was attacked.

Kanpur police said the police team surrounded Dayashankar and asked him to surrender but he started firing at the police with a desi tamcha. Police retaliated at the time and Dayashankar was shot in the leg in crossfire from both sides. In the picture, Dayashankar is seen with a desi tamancha in his hand.

The mastermind Vikas continues to explore Dubey

Police are working hard to trace Vikas Dubey, who was responsible for the deaths of eight police personnel in Bikru village in Kanpur. Police have increased the bounty on Vikas Dubey from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. However, police have not yet received any information about Vikas Dubey.

Reward of 25-25 thousand on top of 18 other accused

Raids are also being carried out to arrest other sailors from Vikas Dubey involved in the attack on the police team. The list includes Shyamu Bajpai, Chhotu Shukla, JCB driver Monu, Jahan Yadav, Dayashankar Agnihotri, Shashikant, Pandit Shiv Tiwari, Vishnu Pal, Ram Singh, Ram Bajpai, Amar Dubey, Prabhat Mishra, Gopal Saini, Viru Dubey and Vir Bhavan, Buwa Dubey is included. A prize of 25 thousand rupees has also been announced for all these sailors of Vikas Dubey.
