Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in a bloody clash in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh. At the same time, 10 officers and soldiers were captured by China.

China, however, has released him. It is a different matter that the government remained silent on the issue till the end. For this, the army officials had to negotiate for three consecutive days. Indian Army personnel were released on Thursday. China did not treat them badly.

Sources said the reason behind China's release was that whenever there was a conflict between Chinese and Indian troops on the border and a soldier from one country fell into the hands of another country's army, the rule was to send him back.

In 2013, a Chinese officer fell off a cliff in a similar collision in the Chumar area on the LAC. The officer was rescued by the Indian Army and later sent to China. The injured Chinese officer was treated overnight in India.

Sources said that after three days of talks, China has released Indian troops. Meanwhile, China's stance has not softened but the situation has eased after talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries.
