Unnecessary controversy over PM Modi's statement that there is no intrusion in Indian border: PMO

New delhi date. 20. Saturday, June, 2020

PM Modi on Friday said that no one has infiltrated the Indian border and no one has occupied any outpost in India.

Opposition groups called for a halt to the protests, saying "there is no Chinese presence on the Indian border at the Line of Actual Control (LOC)." The Chinese military's incursion into the Galvan Valley has failed because of the bravery of its troops, the office said.

The PM's office further said that the PM's remarks at the all-party meeting were focused on the June 15 incident in Galwan. Unnecessary controversy is being raised over the PM's statement while defending our borders.

According to the office, the location of the Indian border is clear on the map of India. The government is committed to protecting it.
