PM Modi's all-party meeting will be held today, find out who got the invitation - who didn't get the invitation

At least 20 people have been killed in a bloody clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley on Monday. The tensions have sparked outrage across the country, with China demanding a stern response. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has convened an all-party meeting today to discuss the China dispute, which will include the heads of political forces.

The meeting will discuss the China issue and the current situation. The virtual meeting, to be held at 5:00 pm, will be attended by several senior leaders, including Congress president Sonia Gandhi and NCP president Sharad Pawar. However, controversy is also brewing as some political forces have not been invited.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had a telephone conversation with the chairpersons of all the major parties ahead of the all-party meeting and a total of 17 representatives of political forces will be able to attend the meeting.

Controversy over not inviting certain political forces

The all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is already mired in controversy. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), annoyed at not getting the invitation, said it had four MPs and a representative in the Rajya Sabha but did not receive the invitation. Tejaswi Yadav has also raised questions as the Rashtriya Janata Dal has not been invited.

However, it is learned that only the party which has more than five MPs in the Lok Sabha has been invited to attend the meeting. The TDP, on the other hand, has received invitations despite having only four MPs.

It is to be mentioned that on the night of June 15, when the Indian army arrived in Galvan valley to check the Chinese troops, the ambushing Chinese attacked. Twenty Indian Army personnel were killed in the clashes, and several opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, have demanded a clear response from the government.
