In eastern Ladakh, 20 Indian soldiers were killed and four others were seriously injured in a violent altercation by Chinese troops. At least 43 Chinese soldiers have also been killed in the clashes. The violent confrontation took place when Indian troops went to remove the tents set up by Chinese troops towards India.
