India deploys air defense system in eastern Ladakh to teach China a lesson

Army chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane was in Ladakh for two days amid growing tensions on the Indo-China border, just a day after the army chief's visit to Ladakh.

According to government sources, the air defense system of both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force has been deployed in the Ladakh sector as part of the ongoing build-up in the eastern Ladakh sector to prevent mishaps by Chinese Air Force fighter jets and Army helicopters.

Over the past few weeks, Chinese security forces have seen planes like the Sukhoi-30 flying just 10 km from the Indian border, sources said, adding that India is fast achieving a state-of-the-art air defense system that can be deployed on the LAC. The deployment of these aircraft is meant to take care of the entire area.

Sources said Chinese helicopters were flying very close to Indian LACs in all disputed areas including sub-sector North (Dolat Bagh Old Sector), patrolling points 14, 15, 17 and 17A (hot) near Galwan Valley, Pangog Tso and From the finger area it is going very close to the finger 3 area.

In view of China's activities, India has decided to deploy an air defense missile system at the border, in addition to landing very fast fighter jets, drones, which can be fully operated in high mountainous areas. Many types of improvements have been made.

At the same time, Indian Air Force fighter jets are very active in Ladakh, with China monitoring the border areas to ensure that various activities are stopped on time.
