Imran Khan calls terrorist Osama bin Laden a martyr in Pakistan's parliament

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has martyred Osama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda and mastermind of several major terrorist incidents. PM Imran told parliament that the US came inside Pakistan and killed and martyred Osama bin Laden.

Imran Khan said that Pakistan has been facing war for many years. A video of Imran Khan calling terrorist Osama bin Laden a martyr has also come out.

A day earlier, the US State Department had said that Pakistan was becoming a safe haven for terrorist groups. The department has mentioned this in the report of Country Report on Terrorism 2019.

The report said that Pakistan allows terrorist groups targeting India and Afghanistan to operate from their soil.

The report lists the terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed and their allies and their affiliates targeting India, citing the Afghan Taliban and the Haqqani network as groups targeting Afghanistan.

The report said that Pakistan had taken some very common steps to curb anti-India militant groups in the wake of the 2019 terror funding probe and the terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir in February of the same year.
