'Congress is spreading illusion, China-PAK has grabbed as much land as two states under their rule': Sambit Patra

The Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been waging a war of words over the escalating tensions between India and China. BJP president JP Nadda had raised several tweets on Wednesday morning raising questions against the Congress party. Now, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has once again questioned Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi during a press conference. According to the BJP's allegation, the Congress governments allowed Pakistan and China to grab a large part of India's land.

"The Congress party has made historic mistakes while in power and the whole country is suffering from the mistakes of one family," he said. He also reiterated in Parliament the question of why the Congress has softened its stance on the China issue. He said China and Pakistan have been questioned several times in Parliament.

The question was asked in 2012 when the Congress government replied that China-Pakistan had usurped 78,000 sq km of Indian land. In Jammu and Kashmir, China also occupies several thousand km of Indian land.

The BJP leader said that China had earlier grabbed Indian land and apart from that Pakistan had handed over PoK land to China. He also accused the mother and son of the Congress party of spreading illusions in the country.

According to Sambit Patra, when two states of India have been grabbed by Pakistan and China, the question is, why did the Congress government give that land? He also accused the troops of not warning them in time during the 1962 war.

JP Nadda tweeted several times on Wednesday. He wrote that the dispute with China is in full opposition to the issue and the country is with the government but only one family is feeling the brunt. He also quipped that the Congress party has started treating the family as a single country.
