Congress cheated by giving PM relief fund to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation: J. P Nadda

New delhi date. Friday 26 June 2020

The Bharatiya Janata Party is constantly targeting the Congress. Today, the BJP slammed the Congress over the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. Party national president Jagat Prakash Nadda alleged that the people of India had donated to help their fellow citizens in need but the money was transferred to a family organization.

JP Nadda said the PMNRF was created to help people in crisis but the rupee was being donated to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation during the UPA tenure. Who was on the board of PMNRF? Sonia Gandhi. Who is the Chairman of RGF? Sonia Gandhi.

Absolutely reprehensible, no one cares about the neglect of ethics, processes and transparency. The BJP president said the people of India had donated their hard earned money to the PMNRF to help their fellow citizens in times of need. Transferring this public wealth to a family-run foundation is not only a serious fraud but also a great betrayal of the people of India.

Earlier, addressing a virtual mass rally in Madhya Pradesh on Friday, Nadda had said that Rahul Gandhi was secretly talking to the Chinese ambassador to India in Delhi during the Doklama standoff in 2017. Today, the Congress is also misleading the country over the Galvan Valley. At the same time, he has received a large sum of money from China for the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. He said the Congress has also politicized the incident in Galwan Valley.

This is the same Congress when the Sino-Indian dispute was raging in August 2017, when Rahul Gandhi was having a private meeting with the Chinese ambassador. On the issue of Galwan Valley, all the political forces said that we are all together for Modiji's country. You go ahead we are all together. Only one family has begun to question their determination and policy.
