West Bengal: Bus full of laborers overturns in Jalpaiguri, 15 injured

The country is facing a lockdown due to the corona virus. Accidents involving laborers are taking place in different parts of the country during the lockdown. There is now a bus full of laborers overturned in West Bengal. Of these, 15 workers were injured.

The accident took place in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, with a bus full of laborers. Where a bus overturned. The incident took place late at night when a bus full of tourists overturned near Moranga Chopati in Dhupgudi block in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal.

All the migrant workers were working in the Sahudangi brick factory in Bihar. All were returning and going to their home town Cooch Behar district. A total of 15 people, including 4 women and 3 children, were injured in the incident. Dhupgudi police reached the spot after the incident and rescue work has been carried out.

All the injured have been admitted to Dhupgudi Hospital after the incident. The condition of a laborer there is serious. The driver has been absconding since the incident. Police are currently investigating the incident.
