Even in a democracy, politicians do not give up their royal pomp and splendor.

Contrary to this trend, however, Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren and Minister Mithilesh Thakor were waiting for 45 minutes to meet the begging Ravidas.

Ravidas is a resident of a village in Hazaribagh district. He came to Ranchi four years ago. After collecting money, he started driving a rickshaw.

After the lockdown was imposed, now it is his turn to beg to fill his stomach. Now Ravidas sits near the Ranchi College and begs. It was also reduced due to the lockdown.

After reports in the local media, Minister Mithilesh Thakur decided to buy a rickshaw and hand it over to Ravidas at the hands of the Chief Minister. On Sunday, the Chief Minister's Office informed Ravidas that the Chief Minister was coming to give him a rickshaw. Arrived outside the CM's house with his fence.

However, they arrived 45 minutes late. Chief Minister Soro was waiting for them till then. The happiness on Ravidas' face was worth seeing as soon as he got the rickshaw.

"I did not like begging but I was compelled to do so. Now I will have a chance to earn a living by driving a rickshaw again," he said.
