Storm and hailstorm wreak havoc in Kannauj, UP, killing 6, injuring 4

Cyclonic storms and hailstorms have wreaked havoc in Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj district, killing at least six people. Apart from that four other people have been injured and have been admitted to the medical college for treatment. The government has announced compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those killed in the cyclone in Tirva area of ​​Kannauj district.

The Tirwa region has suffered the most due to the cyclone in Kannauj district. The storm destroyed dozens of trees, electricity pylons, poultry farms, dairy farms and gas agencies. The power supply to more than 12 villages has been disrupted due to the collapse of the power pole and the sub-district magistrate is visiting these villages to investigate the damage.

According to locals, the storm was so severe that several vehicles were also damaged. According to the villagers, the district has never seen such a terrible storm before and the people have never seen such a catastrophe. In the Thathiya area, one person lost his life due to a heavy blow to the head, while two people lost their lives when a wall collapsed in two places.

One person was killed when a tree fell on him while a tractor-trolley parked on a slope in the Tirva area overturned due to a heavy storm and an eight-year-old child sitting in it died. As many as 26 animals have also lost their lives in this entire disaster.
