Prolonged lockdown in the country: Find out what concessions are available and what will be banned

Lockdown 4.0 has been announced across the country and its limit has been extended to May 31. The fourth phase of lockdown in the country will be from May 18 to May 31, i.e. a 14-day lockdown.

In the fourth phase of the lockdown, all schools, malls, colleges and gyms in the country will be closed. Also, Metro and air services will not be operational till May 31. However there will be restrictions in the hotspot area

What will open

Online learning will start in Lockdown 4.0. The sports complex and stadium will be open but without spectators, the stadium will be open for practice only. Government office and canteen will be started. Also, with the consent of the state government, people will be able to move from one state to another. Vehicle transaction equipment can be started.

What will be closed

Air travel will be closed in Lockdown 4.0. Metro rail will also be closed. Schools, colleges, hotels, restaurants, cinemas, shopping malls, gyms and places of worship will be banned. According to the new guideline, the red, green and orange zones will now be decided by the state government. Apart from this, it is mandatory to have a health bridge app in the phone.

Lockdown so far

The first announced a lockdown from March 25 to April 14. After that it was increased from 15th April to 03rd May. Even after that it was extended from 4th May to 17th May and now the lockdown has been extended to 14 days.
