No plan- no package, what after lockdown-3? : Sonia Gandhi

New delhi date. 06 May 2020, Wednesday

Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has held a meeting with the chief ministers of the Congress-ruled regions. The meeting was attended by former Prime Minister Dr. Several leaders, including Manmohan Singh and former party president Rahul Gandhi, were present. Meanwhile, Sonia has targeted the Modi government.

Sonia Gandhi said what after May 17? How after May 17? What is the next strategy of the Modi government regarding lockdown?

While former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said it was important to save the elderly, diabetics and heart patients in the fight against Kovid, former finance minister P Chidambaram said the financial crisis against the states was growing and no money was being allocated from the central government.

In the meeting, the chief ministers of Rajasthan, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Puducherry have demanded a relief package from the Center. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Badhel and Puducherry CM Narayanasamy have demanded a relief package.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, "How will the state and the country function unless a comprehensive incentive package is given?" We have lost Rs 10,000 crore in revenue. States have repeatedly requested the Prime Minister for a package but our word is being ignored.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said, as Sonia ji is saying what after lockdown 3.0? We also want to know what the government plans to do next. State chief ministers should know the strategy after the third phase of lockdown.

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has criticized the Centre's approach to the lockdown. "We have set up two committees, one for the exit plan of the lockdown and the other for the economic strategy," he said. People sitting in Delhi are deciding zoning without information.

Chhattisgarh CAP Bhupesh Badhel said the state was facing a serious economic crisis. He needs immediate help. Chhattisgarh is a state where 80 per cent of small scale industries have resumed and about 85,000 workers have returned to work.

Like Punjab, Puducherry has criticized the classification of zones. Chief Minister Narayanasamy said the Indian government was classifying the zones without consulting the state governments. People sitting in Delhi cannot tell the situation of the states. The division of zones is not discussed with any state or CM. Why
