IED-defying Kashmir averted major terror attack, conspiracy like Pulwama

The Army has foiled a plot to carry out a terrorist attack like Pulwama on Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir. Here an IED was planted in a Centro vehicle near Pulwama. Who was identified. The Bomb Disposal Squad saw the opportunity and diffused the bomb.

The vehicle was identified by the Pulwama Police CRPF and Army in a joint operation and was found to have an IED. The Bomb Disposal Squad was called in and the IED blast was averted.

The vehicle was being driven by a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist who fled after the initial firing. The case has now been handed over to the NIA. The vehicle was seized at Shadipura near Rajpura Road in Pulwama.

The white Centro car had a two-wheeler number plate. Which was registered in Kathua. The bomb was tracked down by the Jammu and Kashmir Police after which the area was evacuated before the Bomb Disposal Squad was called.
