Maharashtra has the highest number of corona patients and the Maharashtra Police Department has also been hit by corona.
About 1000 police personnel in Maharashtra have been infected with corona. Of these, 7 have died while 113 have been discharged after treatment. The number of corona patients in Maharashtra has reached 22000, out of which 13000 patients are in Mumbai.
The Mumbai Police is also in a state of anxiety and mourning after the death of a police officer in Mumbai on Sunday. Four Mumbai police personnel have died due to corona.
The Mumbai Police, on condition of anonymity, said that the necessary security arrangements were not being made to protect the police personnel from the corona.
