Investigation of corpses - process in progress
An official said the bodies of the passengers and their luggage were being examined so that the luggage could be handed over to the relatives of the deceased. The bodies have been handed over to their relatives for burial.
Did the pilot make a mistake?
Accident investigators are trying to determine if the crash was the result of a pilot error or a technical glitch. According to a report, the pilot ignored three ATC (air traffic control) warnings during the flight. Prior to landing at Karachi airport, the pilot had rejected three warnings from air traffic controllers regarding speed and altitude, saying he was satisfied with the condition of the aircraft and would take control of the situation.
Ignoring the ATC's warning
The Airbus A-20, which was coming from Lahore to Karachi, was flying at an altitude of 10,000 feet instead of 2,000 feet above the ground. At the time, the ATSA had issued the first warning to reduce the altitude of the aircraft, in response to which, instead of bringing the aircraft down, the pilot said he was satisfied with the situation.
The ATSA again issued a warning to bring the plane down
When the plane was only 10 nautical miles from the airport, it was flying at an altitude of 5,000 feet instead of 2,000 feet. The ATS once again warned the pilot to lower the height of the aircraft. However, the pilot said at the time that he was satisfied with the situation and would handle the situation and was ready to land.
