PM Modi's speech over and over: Congress

New Delhi, Apr 14, 2020, Tuesday

After the announcement by PA Modi to increase the lockdown, the Congress has described Modi's speech as hollow and overblown.

The Congress has said that in PM Modi's speech there is no talk of a relief package and no talk about what steps will be taken to save the economy. Former finance minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram had said that the poor have been given 40 days to manage themselves.

He said that there is money and food, but the government will not provide. My countrymen you cry. Congress leader Manish Tiwari also said, "Tell the Prime Minister what the government is expecting from the people, but he has not talked about what the government will do for the people."

Congress spokesperson Surajewala said the roadmap to fight Corona was not visible. Leadership does not mean making people feel accountable but it does mean that the government has its duty towards the people.

Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi also said that the key thing was missing in PM Modi's speech. Talking about teaching and motivating is all but hollow. There is no advertisement for the poor or for the middle class or for the industry.
