India will need 50000 ventilators, 2.16 crore N-95 masks in two months

Given the prevalence of coronas in the country and the increasing number of patients in the country, the central government has estimated how much will be needed in the next two months.

As per this, India needs 2.7 million N95 masks, 50000 ventilators, 16 lakh testing kits and 1.5 million personal protection equipment in the next two months.

According to sources, a meeting with some industries was organized by the policy commission of the government. In which the government was told how much India may need something.

India needs 50000 ventilators, of which 16000 are currently available. The remaining 34000 ventilators have been ordered. This question was asked by Industries. So that the industry can invest in what projects.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Policy Commission, the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government and a member of the National Disaster Management Authority.
