Delhi government has contacted Delhi's local court to announce a new date for the execution of four Nirbhaya gang rap and four convicts in the murder case. Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana has directed the guilty to submit their reply by tomorrow.

The Delhi government today told the court that all legal options of the culprits have now been exhausted and no one can save them.

It is worth mentioning that President Ramnath Kovind has also rejected the mercy petition of Pawan Kumar Gupta, the fourth convict facing death sentence, the Home Ministry said in a statement.

All four were earlier to be hanged on Tuesday, March 3rd, but the court stayed the execution until a new order was issued on Monday.

Earlier on February 3, the trial court ordered the execution of four accused, Mukesh Kumar Singh, 4-year-old Pawan, 3-year-old Vinay Sharma and 3-year-old Akshay Kumar Singh, at 3 am on March 3.

It is worth mentioning that in this case till now death warrants have been issued three times but for various legal reasons these warrants have been revoked. President Ramnath Kovind has already rejected the mercy petitions of Mukesh, Vinay and Akshay.

The Tihar Jail administration has said that all legal options for the culprits have been exhausted. The court issued a new death warrant as no plea of ​​any guilty person was delayed. The court has also issued notices to the convicts and their lawyers.

According to the guidelines of the Supreme Court, after the mercy petition has been rejected, the guilty wind will get 3 days notice. That is, the culprits are likely to be hanged after 7 days. However, Pawan Kumar can still file a petition in the Supreme Court against the President's decision to dismiss the mercy petition.

It was earlier decided that the four convicts would be hanged on January 7. However, this warrant was put on stand and was to be hanged on February 7. However this was canceled on a death warrant. Then on March 3rd, a death warrant was issued for hanging. However, for legal reasons, this death warrant was forced to be revoked.
