New Delhi, Mar 27, 2020, Friday
Ramayana is set to resume broadcast tomorrow, Saturday, one of the most popular serials to break all records on the small screen.
The government has given a gift to those who have been trapped in the house during the lockdown. The two episodes will be aired on television at 9am on Saturday and 9pm on Saturday.
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar himself tweeted that the Ramayana telecast will resume on March 28 on the demand of the people.
However, the government has not yet given a foothold on the Mahabharata. Earlier, the government had hinted to show the Mahabharata as well as the popular show like Ramayana.
It may be that, in the coming days, the government can make a similar announcement for the Mahabharata. Both these epics, which were aired at the time as serials, saw a situation like spontaneous curfew in the country. At the time of the show's broadcast, people used to put up all the work in their homes and get organized.
On Saturday, March 28, on the demand of the people, the broadcast of 'Ramayana' will resume on Doordarshan's national channel. The first episode will be at 9.00 in the morning and the second episode at 9.00 pm. @narendramodi
