FIR against Mathura narrator Devakinandan Thakur

A case has been registered against Vrindavan's Bhagwat narrator Devakinandan Thakur and his brother Vijay Sharma at the police station in Mathura.

A case has been registered under sections 354, 323, 452, 504, 506, 147 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act.

He has been charged in a Dalit house on charges of penetrating and experimenting with racist words and harassing a present woman. Earlier in the year 2018, he was arrested in Agra for leading the Indian Bandh in protesting the SC-ST Act.

It is worth mentioning that Devakinandan Thakur is a staunch opponent of SC-ST law. He also formed a team called 'Akhand India Mission' to campaign against the SC-ST Act. Whose national chairman Devkindan Thakur was appointed.
