Dhaka, Ta. 9 March 2020, Monday

The government of Bangladesh has canceled Sheikh Mujiburrahman centenary celebrations over the outbreak of Corona wire. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also scheduled to go to Dhaka to attend the ceremony.

Event organizer Kamal Abdul Chowdhury said that the program was postponed due to the health of the population due to the corona virus. At present we have decided to briefly plan this massively organized program. We have redesigned the program, scheduled for March 17th. Foreign guests will be able to attend the event again at the end of the year for the festival.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has canceled a program due to the corona virus. It has previously avoided going to events such as the Holi Festival, the European Union Summit in Brussels.

It is important to point out that according to the WHO report, as of March 7, 10 am, 1,19,027 cases of corona virus have been reported. And 3,486 people have died.
