British mobile company will close 531 stores amid Corona virus care

London, Ta. 18 March 2020 Wednesday

Independent phone retailer Carphone Warehouse will close three of its stores on April 3, with the release of 1,4 employees.

The company said its decision had nothing to do with the Corona virus epidemic and that its international operations and Ireland's five stores would not be affected.

It is noteworthy that Dixons Carphone was formed in the 5th due to the merger of Electrical Goods Retailer Dixons and Mobile Telecom Group Carphone Warehouse.

According to parent company Dixons Carphone, in the future they will continue to sell mobile phones through two branches of Curious PC World, selling online and various electrical goods. At the same time, the company explained that the changing attitude of the customers was responsible for closing the store. According to the company, they have suffered a loss of $ 8 million during the current year and this decision is needed to ensure that the mobile phone department is making profit again.

As per the announcement, the company will be releasing 6,700 employees, besides deploying another 5 employees in the group. Consumer mobile devices and connectivity buying patterns have been changing drastically and in these circumstances it has been very difficult for the company to survive so it has been decided to close 4 stores and focus on the online market.
