Women's Cricket T-20 World Cup: New Zealand beats India in semi-finals

India have reached the semi-finals with a third consecutive win at the Women's T20 Cricket World Cup in Australia.

In the thrilling match against New Zealand today, the Indian women's team won by four runs. Shefali Verma, a 16-year-old teen age sensation from India, played 46 off 34 balls.



However, since the other members of the Indian women's team were not able to perform significantly, India scored 133 runs in less than eight wickets.

However, the Indian bowlers again performed brilliantly and restricted the New Zealand team to 129 for six. India topped their group with 6 points in three games and became the first team to reach the semifinals. India had defeated Australia and Bangladesh earlier. Now the Indian team will play the last league match against Sri Lanka on Saturday.

Emily Kerr, the only one from New Zealand to score 34 runs. A wicket was found in the form of a runout.
