View by JNU students outside Kejriwal's house

New Delhi, Feb 26, 2020 Wednesday

Police had launched a coup to disperse the students of JNU and Jamia Millia who were watching outside Kejriwal's house with a vow to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The student alleged that the police had forcibly arrested us and taken us to the Civil Line police station.

He also alleged that some government officials and police were involved in communal violence in Delhi. Action should be taken immediately against them. We had to hand the Chief Minister a handmade memorandum. The police stopped us forcefully.

Kejriwal visited hospital in East Delhi on Tuesday evening for those injured in the violence. He also appealed for an immediate halt to violence and to maintain peace,

A similar appeal was made by Jamiat and demanded that he maintain the decree.
