The march of Shaheen Bagh protesters began, raising the security of Home Minister housing

New delhi date. 16 February 2020, Sunday

Delhi Police has rejected the demand of more than 5 thousand protesters of Shaheen Bagh march to Amit Shah's house, but the protesters are firm and have started marching to reach Amit Shah's house. Police have increased the security of Amit Shah's house as part of a precautionary measure.

DCP South East said the protesters had informed him that they were marching to meet Amit Shah. Demonstrators do not have an appointment to meet the Home Minister or cannot do so. We're talking to them and trying to convince them.

Demonstrators say they want to meet Amit Shah because, at present, Amit Shah said that anyone who objected to CAA can find them and share their concerns. It is worth mentioning that, the people who were exhibiting in Shaheenbagh wrote a letter demanding that around 5 thousand people would go to Amit Shah's house and visit with them. The letter was also sent to Delhi Police Headquarters.
