Shaheenbagh protesters can't block road: Supreme

New delhi date. February 10, 2020, Monday

Women have been sitting on the dharna for several days in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh in protest of the CAA and NRC. It is being alleged that these women have also blocked the road in the area where the dharna is sitting.

In this case, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding the removal of women and exposing the road. The Supreme Court, while hearing the petition, said that people protesting in Shaheen Bagh cannot block the road in this way.

The court also said that people have the right to showcase the dharna but the exhibition should be held in an area that is selected for display or allowed. This demonstration should not take place in areas, roads, roads or parks where people face harassment.

Judge S.K. Kaul and K.M. A Bench of Joseph has given notice to the Central Government and the Delhi Government as well as the Delhi Police over the entire matter and asked them to respond to a petition demanding the removal of the protesters.

The petitioners argued that the Supreme Court had issued a directive on the removal of the protesters, though the Supreme Court had said that we cannot hear the decision of only one of your party and we must listen to the government and the police.

After hearing all the arguments, the court has decided to hold the next hearing on February 7. However, a bench of the apex court had earlier said that if you really want to keep the protests public, the sites which have to be identified or allocated for the demonstration should be done.

Road is not blockable in public in this way. The court said that there is a law which is protesting against the people, the matter is pending in the court even though people are protesting. They have the right to protest. But it should be done in a place where other citizens are not bothered.

Can a four-month-old baby be taken to the store? : Question of the Supreme

Supreme notices to Central-State Government on taking children in Shaheenbagh

New delhi date. February 10, 2020, Monday

In Shaheen Bagh, women have been sitting on the dharna for several days to protest the CAA, NRC. However, a few days ago, a woman brought her four-month-old baby to death in the dam which has died due to cold. The matter has now gone to the Supreme Court and given notice to the central-state government on the issue.

In the Supreme Court, a young man expressing his grief over a minor child wrote a letter to the chief judge, after which the Supreme Court took note of it and took Suomoto's case for the entire matter.

While arguments were going on in this case, the Supreme Court bench questioned the women lawyers present in the whole matter, even if only a four-month-old child could take part in the protest. Later, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who was present on behalf of the government, said that bringing a four-month-old child to a place for dhar is not appropriate.

The court later clarified that the case we are currently hearing has nothing to do with the CAA, the NRC. We were just wondering how worthwhile it is to take a child to such a place and take it? At present, after hearing the arguments on the whole matter, the Center and the State Government have sought response and have postponed the matter till then.
