The income tax department has raided the house of South Indian movie superstar actor Joseph Vijay alias Vijay Thalapathi.

During the raid on tax evasion, Rs 65 crore was recovered from actor's house. The raid is still ongoing.

Due to the raid, the shooting of actor Vijay's film has been stopped. Earlier, Vijay had given 400 members of the unit a gift of gold for the movie Biggil. After that, the actor was in the eyes of the IT department. The film had a business of over 300 million. Vijay is considered an action star of Tamil films.

Bags full of cash have been recovered from Vijay's house. Vijay started working in films since the age of 18. Her father is also a well known producer of Tamil films.
