Delhi violence: Death toll rises to 36, two more bodies found in Nala

New Delhi, Feb 27, 2020 Thursday

The death toll in the violence in North East Delhi has risen to 36.

Two more bodies were recovered from a river in Gaganpuri area on Thursday. Similarly, the body of Constable Ankit Sharma, IB's constable, was found in Nala on Wednesday.

In the stormy areas, there is still heavy fiery conditions. A single incident of violence was reported on Wednesday night. A tempo and a bike were burnt in Jyoti Nagar.

In areas where Delhi was hit by storms in Jaffarabad, Mojpur, Chandbag, Gokulpuri, there is peace but the atmosphere of danger remains unchanged. Most shops are closed.

Police flag marches in areas affected by violence. A large number of security forces have been deployed in these areas. The fire brigade received 19 calls to fire the fire Wednesday night.
