Chhattisgarh Cobra Commando Flat Ten Naxalite Killed, Two Jawans Martyred

In Chhattisgarh, the CRPF's Cobra Commando attacked a large Naxal base. The CRPF's 151, Cobra's 201,204,206 and 208 battalions were attacked in Nappal on February 9 in the state's Bijapur state, killing ten Naxals and killing two fighters. According to intelligence reports, the operation was carried out in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh.

There was also a Naxalite training camp in Irapalli that was blown up by security forces. After the attack, the Naxals also attacked and killed two soldiers. A deputy commandant was killed. But the Naxals fled when they saw the way the security forces crossed the border. The jawans then cordoned off the base and pursued a search operation in which they found weapons factory and explosives.

The Naxals trained to carry weapons in this area surrounded by mountains on three sides. At the time of the operation, there were 200 Naxals who escaped in the encounter. However, two jawans were martyred in the raiding attacks. In the large Naxalite encampment, a gun-making factory and a large quantity of explosives were seized.

Security forces seized iron rods, cannons, IEDs, 12 bore artillery, mortars and explosives for gun-making. The Maoists in the area kept temporary clinics, equipment and medicines for treating their wounded comrades. He also provided advanced training to counter the security forces.
