Birthday to a fifty-year-old man who raped a minor in Rajasthan

A Paxo court here sentenced a fifty-year-old relative to rape in May 2019 to a mere nine-year-old boy. Surprisingly, the rapist lived as a guest at Sagira's house and belonged to the victim. Following a trial that lasted almost nine months, Special Judge Kailash Chand Mishra also fined the accused Rs 50,000.

The special court, which handled all the cases under the Poxo Act, 2012, had convicted his relative's minor daughter on May 14, 2019 for raping her. The businessman allegedly raped a 50-year-old male to death after he went out to work, said a doctor, a lawyer from Kottani court told the court.

On the day of the rape, the accused stayed as a guest at Sagira's house. Sagira told the whole story to her mother on May 18, 2019, and informed RK Puram police station and arrested the rape. The statements of about 13 witnesses were taken in the case, government prosecutor Suresh Verma said.
