Ukraine's Boeing-737 plane crash, 180 passengers aboard Iran-US tensions

A plane carrying 180 passengers has crashed in the Iranian capital of Tehran. The incident has been reduced due to a technical malfunction in the aircraft. The plane crash has been linked to tensions between the US and Iran.

Iran's state-run news agency ISNA reported that the Boeing 737 jet crashed in Iran shortly after taking off due to a technical problem. The plane, which was flying to Ukraine, had 180 passengers and crew members aboard.

Today, Iran fired more than a dozen missiles at two US Army bases in Iraq. Coalition forces are deployed with the United States at the Army base. The US and coalition forces are not known to have been harmed in the attack so far.

A US defense official said that at about five-and-a-half, US and coalition troops were attacked in Iraq with more than a dozen missiles.
